1. open vlc
2. Contrl + N
3. Network Tab
4. Please Enter Network Url: [Youtube URL] without any params
5. Click Play
6. Video Should start, Hit control+i or Tools>Media Information
7. At the bottom, says: Location.
8. Copy and paste location url into browser.
9. Video opens in browser
10. Rightclick and click "Save Video As"
