hi i really like your tutorial, i have on request.

can you show me how i can display the visitors ip address on the screen on a webpage.

i have php website and i heard you can get the ip from php and display it on the website. is displaying the ip address possible with php or do i have to install some sort of deamon to get the ip address from the user?

could you tell me what would work on a simple index.htm page to display the visitor's ip address and other related information so that the visitor can see how much information they are sharing with the websites that they visit? I tried to use echo $_SERVER[REMOTE_ADDR]; but that did not work thx

no you dont need anything special. just do this:

echo $_SERVER[REMOTE_ADDR];

and you will get the ip address of your current visitor
