i have a computer on my business and a technician came buy because my computer was not turning on. i had to call someone to come and take a look at it. so when the tech came by, he looked at my computer and told me there is nothing wrong with my computer, the problem is with the power strip. i see that you have many articles about computer technical help, so i was wondering if anyone knows where i can find the location of the power strip

the power strip is not on your computer, its like a power extension.
your power strip probably has protection so it broke because it cannot protect your computer so all you have to do is go to your local electronics store and buy one, if you connect your computer directly to the wall socket, you will see there is nothing wrong with your computer and so the technician was right.
