question: why did God send Jesus to the earth?
answer: For us to have a chance at eternal life, when you take Jesus into your heart and ask him to forgive your sins, he will do it.
How do i know this? Jesus tell us in the bible. You don't have to take my word for it..
John 3:16 says:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God is Love - In Him we Trust
I) 1Cor.2:9 say’s “what eye has not seen, ear has not heard, what mind has not conceived …..Such things are prepared (reserved) by God for those who love Him…. By the power of His Holy Spirit.”
When we love God, this is our reward… . The Holy Spirit will lead us into His deeper relationships. That is why the Church calls us to do our personal prayer, Bible reading, meditation, celebration of Sacraments, etc. to show our love to Him, how much we care about Him, how dear God is to us.
II) But what about God himself loving us so much?
In 1Jn.4:7 ff we read “God is love…. And that He first loved us….. by sending His Son Jesus.” Hence Jesus says in Jn.3:16 God showed His love to you by giving His only son.(me to you) not to condemn but to save you. He proved His love by making His son die for us, even while we were sinners(Rom.5:8) He loves us so much that through the Death and Resurrection of His Son Jesus, He destroyed the works of Satan(1Jn.3:8) and gave us right to be called as His Sons/daughters by giving us the Eternal Holy Spirit. This is the proven love of God the Father for us – in Jesus His son and in the Holy Spirit.
It is this love of God the Father centered on Jesus and the Holy Spirit that saves us, delivers us, forgives us, refreshes us, makes us new creations of God and promises us the life of Resurrection and establishes us as citizens of Heaven. Hallelujah!
It is this love of God the Father that makes us more human and compassionate like His Son Jesus. Amen!
It is through this love of God the Father (proved in Jesus and in the Holy Spirit) that God is very near to us. Acts.17:27(b) says “in Him we live and move and exist (i.e. has our being) and God is not far from any of us”. Praise the Lord. !
III) Do we relish this love of our Heavenly Father? Are we hungry for this love of God or do we go to even wrong places to fill ourselves with temporal love?
Do worries, tensions, and stresses, undue anxieties rule our life? Do they rule us so much that even sickness and frustrations have become part of our life?
Look what Jesus says in Mt.6:31-34. Carefully consider what Jesus says to each of us: are you sensitive to the love of your Heavenly Father? Do you have faith in Him?
* Jesus trusted and had faith in His Father and the Father filled Him with His Love, The Lord Jesus says to us now: Trust your Father’s love for you (Lk12:32) trust in me as well.(Jn.14:1-3).
* Jesus trusted the Holy Spirit to fill His church with the Love of the Father.(Rom5:5) and in spite of failings and weaknesses the Holy Spirit has never abandoned the Church. Neither will He abandon you …. Trust His manifestation (workings) in your life.
IV) 2 weapons Jesus is asking us to use to experience the Love of the Father in all
fullness, through Him are:
* Prayer (a deep friendship with Him) (Mt.6:9-12) and (Jn.14:21)
* Abandonment (faith and trust in His providence) 1 Cor.1:9
* He wants us to seek Him continually in the humility of our poverty and His visitation will deliver us from the power of all evil. (Lk.1:71)
So dear friends, the Triune God is calling us to seek Him and Trust Him so that we are all filled with his love abundantly.
Ask the heavenly Father to fill you with His love…..and to be really enveloped in your Father’s love. That is enough (sufficient) for your victorious living.
my Father in the Name of Jesus, I pray: Fill me with your love.”
