there has been alot of rumors as to why carmen left the show. I love watching carmen on the george lopez show. she was very funny. I actually was going through alot of things she was going through as a teenager with my paretns, i am all grown up now, but i enjoy watching the show still. its too bad that they fired her.. well, to be honest, i dont know if she was fired or not. In an interview, Masiela admited she was not mexican, i thought because george lopez was mexican, everyone on this cast was mexican, not that it doesnt matter. it just goes to show you what a great actres masiela was.

i know this blog is really old but i still watch the george lopez show on nick at night, and i love the show wholeheartedly except the character of carmen lopez she's such a horrible character and very annoying nothing funny about her as for masiela lucha, i have no opinion of her, either way but, i was so glad to see the character of carmen lopez leave the show

i can’t stand george’s mom character either, especially when she accidentally burned down her house, then her car too both with 1000s of dollars in them then expected george to accept those situations where now the mom began chauffeuring her around to and from bars with strangers making out with her in the car it was too ridiculous to watch! they make the grandma way too despicable and the mom too # silly # sometimes, and carmen just totally to annoying before she left, but that could have been planned so we would be happy she left her replacement sucked bad thou!

btw, i’m watching it now while posting this because i wanted to find out why carmen left after i read a ridiculous comment it was because george suddenly found out she wasn’t latin?? ridiculous!

george lopezfired masiela lusha off the show, simply because he discovered that she wasn't a latino emigrant, but was an emigrant from albania.

Odd since he hired her to work on the show he co created (anger management) she was on a few episodes. I don’t think it had anything to do with him.

those were rumors, george and her are close still on instagram and has said if abc does bring the show back she is more then willing i think they had creative differences and she wanted to do other things but her and george were still fine
