does any one know what google uses for their web server, im wondering if they use linux or sun unix i also wonder if they use php. i know for sure they dont use microsoft asp. hahahah

The servers run custom server software called Google Web Server

Google Web Server (GWS) is the name for the web server software that Google use for their web infrastructure.

i think they are using ms windows server x 2099 with a linux kernel and a mac interface, programming in .net version 311. asp.net 312 with php.net and java.net. :d

google uses gws which is a modified apache as their web server.
