hey guys, can you tell me what do i need to do to make my computer run fast?
i mean, its been slugish lately and for some reason, its has started to perform really slow and i don't know what i did to make it run like this, it was running pretty good.

yeah, it sounds like mi situation, you know what i did to make my computer pc go faster, i went to the store and bough a new harddrive, then installed a fresh operating system like windows xp and wow, big difference, i was one of those guys who thought i wanted to have the latest software, but all that's crap. depending on what you really need is.
for example, if you only want to surf the interent, then you need dsl or cable internet and a computer with a browser. and don't install crap from the internet. only install software you actually buy from the store, anything you download from the internet, will always have spyware, no matter what anyone tells you. the only software i trust on the internet is the type of software that's called "Open Source" which means, you can see the code and know exactly what id does. one perfect example is linux, if you've never used linux, i think you should start using it. red hat has a linux project called fedora and you can dowlonad it for free and install it on you computer and you can surf the internet. since there is no crappy stuff to install like windows, it runs really fast.
