my granddaughter has a nissan altima which is heating but not up to par. it appears to be hot enough from the temperature guage and all of the settings are correct but not enough heat. what is most likely to be the problem?

iam tryin to find out where is my evap system and how to fix these codes that came up 0440 and 1448....

i'm getting a p1148 obd2 code. this is the closed loop control or closed loop bank 1 code. what does this mean and how do i fix it.

i have a 1999 altima i took it to get fixed as the check engine lite is on and they said that it was error code 443? p0443 - evap canister purge volume control solenoid valve they said it would cost $400 and that it would mean i would have to replace the charcoal canister? any advice or help?

my friend mine is a problem not a comment so much .i have a nissan altima which is a troubled car. whenever it gets hot it misses terribly and backfires through the air filter; there is no check engine light and the diagnostics return a "vehicle pass" test summary. i have changed many parts eventhough the tests say there is nothing wrong with the car. yet there is no change no matter what i do. any input ?

my 2003 nissan altima stall some times while driving could happen every two weeks and take some times to start but crank over fine when ever it stall right the way i checked for dtc always p0340 cam sensor position wich been replaced recently , a year ago i had the same symptoms was the crankshaft sensor was replaced been fine for the hole year i'm just wonder possible the same thing again.

i have a 1995 nissan altima that up until friday ran good except once in a wile it would stall just like you turned the key off.it would allways restart but friday it stalled and now won't start at all.it has spark and fuel but when you turn it over it sounds like it is out of time. i checked it and it is not out of time but it sounds like it or when you put the plug wires in the wrong place. i tried to check the codes with the self test(turn the knob counter clock wise and then clock wise hold for 2 sec. and turn back) and got 1 long and 2 short check engine light flashes. i don't know what that is (12) maybe. also i read in the book that the computer should have a red & green light on it but i see no lights. i have checked all the fuses and they are good. pleas help!!!!!

hi, i have a 1995 nissan altima it stalled on me while running, just as the fuel pump stopped pumping, brought it home changed the fuel pump and filter. now it will crank a run a minute then turn off by itself like you turned the key off. any thoughts?

i have a 95 nissan altima which allows the brakes to be pumped when it's not running however, when you start it there are no brakes. we've bled the brakes 3 times and refilled the master cyclinder, etc. any ideas? please and thank you...it's the only vehicle we have that gets us to work and home, etc.

i have a 2000 nissan check engine light is on i checked the code it shows po446 i tried to reset it with my scanner but i am unable to it wont reset. anyone have any ideas? if this circut has shorted is there a fuse blown or damage to the computer possible?

hey i have a 1995 nissan altima gxe and erraticly it will stall. the first time it restarted right away but with each time it gets worse to restart.it does this about once ever 2 or three weeks. i changed the fuel filter and drained it into a glass jar. the fuel that came out was black with sediment.

i have a 2006 nissa altima i have changed the spark plugs and the plug coils but my engine light still on. i took it to get checked and they tell me that it maybe a miss fire on cylinder 1. they also told me that it could be cuss i needed to change the plug coils wich i have done so. now it kind of startles so what else can it be the engine light is still on it flashes when im driving and then it stalls some more like it wants to turn off. please help me?

2005 altima 4 cldr automtc with 80000 mi with the following codes: p0335 and p0725.

i used my 3100 obd and got the above. anything i should watch out for? is this an easy fix?

i have 4 codes which are 1612, 1614, 1800, 0011. the first two are the same nats malfunction, the 3rd is vias control solenoid valve and the last is intake valve timing control. can you please tell me what they really mean and what type of money i am looking at to get it fixed?

if your altima has no heat at idle, flush and change the antifreeze to fix. be sure to use the proper mix of coolant to water.

for everybody w/ 05 altima { or same body style} we had the same problem with the heat. just fill it up with anti~freeze, and that should take care of the problem. as far as the stalling nissan recalled are car for the computer to be reprogramed. their is a problem with the throttel body that only nissan can fix do to the parts not being on the aftermarket shelfs {part stores}

what do you do when you car stalles in wather. wait and restart?
