If you want to learn to pray, Jesus tells us how to pray in Matthew 6:5
"And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, They have their reward. "But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. "And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words."Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask him."In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven, Hallowed by Your name.
Your kingdom come.Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven,
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors,
And do not lead us into Temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

it doesn't have to make sense. its a spiritual sense. when i was a kid i used to see the wind move the trees from my window and the wind would move the trees from side to side..and i wondered how its is possible that the wind can move all those trees yet i can't see it. it wasn't until i went outside and felt the breeze for myself that i could feel the air go through me and feel the breeze. althoug i couldn't see the wind, i could feel it.
think of it like that. with jesus its something you feel, it doesn't have to make sense because if you try to make sense of things its your brain thinking not your heart feeling. you feel jesus in your heart, not make sense of why he did what he did. when you ask jesus to come into your heart you feel him and its something you won't make sense until you feel it.
