if you are like me, i wanted to know what kind of SSH version i had on my server.

well, i contacted the people at www.webune.com for their support and they helped me. so if you also want to know this is the command you can run at the shell to get the version of ssh you have installed on your server or computer.

if you ever need help, go to webune.com , they have all kinds of support for free.

so the command to show ssh version is:
ssh -V

hope this helps
John

ssh -v will not tell you the version of ssh accurately. The ssh installed can be patched but the ssh -v does not necessarily get updated.
