hmmm... thats interesting.
ok for starters i'm not telling u how to be prettier but i am telling u not to be a stuck up chick, i work in a bar and girls like those always sat alone with their lesbian friend.
just smell good, brush ur teeth lol, and look presentable and smile to who ever you want to talk to, don't be afraid to be the one to approach a man, they prob think your way out of their league.
be yourself, but make sure yourself has a good personality lol.
i'm not telling to change yourself, what i mean is... don't be a weirdo person like the people who think they can sing on american idol, those girls/guys tend to be a repellent for guys :d

well to make a guy notice you.you dont have to be pretty to do that just be your self act normal like you allways do,cause maybe that guy want's to no whats pretty inside but not ouside,the secret is just be yourself thats all you got to do its easy.
