hi, i don't know why im getting this error, im trying to install a dual boot drive with windows and linux but i don't know why i get this error, in the past i never got it, this is not the first time i've gotten to install them but i can't understand why this time i am.

well, the only thing i can suggest is to make sure your cables are connected propler in you cd drive, clean your cd.
another possible solution would be to check to make sure you have the master and the slave jumper correctly. or it could be just that your cdrom is broken. maybe you need a new one
