Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init Error
ok just in case anyone outhere is having problems trying to boot off ghost and you are encountering this the same, im going to put what i did to overcome/fix when i was getting hung at:
ACPI: PCI Root Bridge [PCI0] (0000:00)
boot my computer/server
then at the G4L boot menu - version 0.23 select the kernel you want to boot with,,
in my case, im going to boo off F: bz22.2 386 build 2.6.22.2 RELEASED 08-09-2007
but to over come the hang, im going to select:
Image Help File
then, you will be at the boot: prompt
enter the following:
bz22.2 acpi=off
and hit enter on your keyboard
now it will boot without that annoying error when it stops while booting
