restart your computer and boot from windows server cd and then go to recovery concole and copy that service file to system32 where your service is corrupted thanks
or
open services.msc and then click on that service and change it type to manual not automatic so then it will not be started during system startup.
for further information contact me via email

Dear Friends,
Generally this type of problems comes in server. I think my information is valuable for u. To solve this problem go to that machine and log on as a Administrator or administrator privilege. Then
Start -> Run -> type services.msc then press enter key or your keyboard.
Search the services : "Performs Log and Alerts" and double click over it. Then click the start button manually.
Go to the Recovery tab of that window and choose Restart the service on both 1st failure and 2nd failure. Then click ok and do refresh the services window.
Thanks
