Where Is Windows Hosts File

today i was testing a website and i have a virtual host on my laptop and i wanted to test it to see if it would work. but to make it work i need to update my hosts file to point to the correct ip address i had on my virtual server. after searching my folders, i finally was able to find it.

so incase anyone also is looking for the hosts file in windows, i will show you where is the location. the way i had to find it is by using the search function in windows, but that really took a while to locate, so maybe if i post the path where of the folder where the hosts files is located, maybe you wont have to waste your time.

C:\\Windows\\System32\\drivers\\etc\\hosts

hahahah, you didnt follow all the steps.

you missed something. i would recommend you try again and this time dont miss any steps. you abviously didnt install something during the perfect setup deal..
