A Domain Registar is company that is an acting service which makes your domain name registration information and reserves the domain name from the ICANN main registry. Registars can also be resellers of other registars. When choosing a registar is a good idea that it is a credited registar. Look for the ICANN logo that its displayed somewhere where the products are found. If you dont see the ICANN log, then the registar you are buying the domain name from its most likely a reseller or a fake. Watch out for registars without the ICANN logo.
When buying a domain name, you shouldnt pay too much for a yearly fee. Most Domain Names Cost about $10 Dollars. If you are paying more than $10 dollars, its time to transfer.
Be aware of cheap domains. If you see a domain name for $2.99, be careful of rip offs.

it should be "registrar".
