Here are tips as to how to tell if he likes you, so check it out because if these things are prevalent, then definitely he likes you but is feeling little shy expressing his feelings

He is trying to be friendly with your friends and is making an effort to know more about you on the excuse that his friend wants to know about you.

If he is busy chitchatting with his friends, but on your arrival at the spot, if he suddenly turns silent, then girly understand what's the indication.

While standing at a distance, he passes you a smile but when you are near, he doesn't look up.

He looks at you at frequent intervals, but when you look back, he takes his eyes off you.

If his behavior changes when you are around, then surely he is in love with you.

If he takes note of almost everything you say, that itself shows what you mean to him.

He looks up straight into your eyes and while he is talking to you, there is a shine in his eyes.

Alright well for one he stares at you then when you turn your head he looks in another direction. Also if he flirts with you from across the room also if he is being mean to you like saying "Your retarded" or "Your sooo dumb" Because I have had experiences like these. ok i like this boy hes in my class i dont really know him tho but i have tried to talk to him but when i do he gets all werid and turns the other way or doesnt look up at me or even at me. The best thing you can do to know for sure if he likes you is to ask him. Stop playing the guessing game. On the other hand, if a guys really likes you, he WILL ask you first. So if he doesn't, then maybe he is not worth it.

Reply to That Girl: hmm, it seems like this boy only likes you as a friend. You have to decide how much you value his friendship. You have to make a decision. Ask him he if likes you - If you he does like you, GREAT. But if he doesn't like you "THAT WAY" then you risk your friendship with him. Because it will make your relationship weird if he doesn't like you and you asked him. My advise is to don't focus so much on love, sherish the friendship you both have and enjoy each others relationship, trust me, if he likes you "LIKE THAT" then he will tell you because he sounds like you both have trust with each other. For now build your relationship with him more, it sounds like its too early for you two to be boyfriend and girlfriend material.

Reply to Jazzy: That boys sounds like a typical show off. Sometimes boys are pressured to say things they don't want to by their piers and soon, it turns into a gossip. If he tells others he likes you but he acts weird like being rude, then mostly likely he is just saying that to benefit himself, otherwise, he wouldn't act weird on you. You can do two things. One, is to faces him and ask him (in private) why he is saying those things, and you want to know if its true or not. When you ask him, he will probably just want to avoid the question and reply to you with another question. you have to stick to your guts and make him answer with a simple yes or no. Or, you can just ignore him and forget about it..

Reply to Nena: If the boy told you he doesn't like you, you have to believe he was telling you the truth. After all, who are you going to believe, the person who told you, or other people. He is the only one who really knows how he feels, if he said no, then accept it and move on. I know its hard sometimes, some says that they don't like you, but because you do like them, its hard to accept it. I think he acts like that because he's probably never been faced with this situation and he doesn't know how to react because he's a good guy and he felt bad he had to give you a "No" answer. Let him go.

Well, there is this guy I like, but sadly I don't know him nor does he know me...one of my friends does, but I'm afraid that she'll make it too obvious that I like him if I ask her for help plus I don't want to sound desperate.

Although I noticed a while ago that when I look at him and catch him looking at me, he looks for a couple more seconds, then quickly turns away. Also, one of his close friends will look at me when I pass by, or when he passes by.

To Mika: If there's one thing i've come to understand about shy guys is that usually they are shy because they are under confident. Some lack confidence because they don't like something about themselves, they feel insure about themselves. For example, if a shy guy has a big nose. Because other people make fun of his nose, he will try to avoid others because he's afraid they'll just make fun of him.

My advice to you would be that get to know him first. Become friends. Get to know him, see what he likes and what he doesn't like. soon you'll understand him more and perhaps will know why he is so shy. We all have our own things in our minds. The best medicine is to have friends. A big mistake girls make is to rush into having a boyfriend because their friends have boyfriends or for some other reason. The best thing you can do it to become friends. If you like a shy guy, you will have to take the first step into friendship. The worst you can do is to have a friend tell that guy that you like him. You have to show respect and be strong. One way to impress a shy boy is to show you are strong. They will admire you and trust you more if you show strength in you. What i mean by strength is in spirit and your character. it doesn't mean to be rude.

So, i guess what i am trying to tell you is that if you like him, be friends first. The way i would approach him is, i would go to him and ask him what his name is. or go introduce yourself, for example" Hi, my name is Mika, Nice to meet you." Depending on the level of shyness, he will get very nervous, even more nervous if he likes you. After you introduce yourself, say something. "well, its nice to meet you. I'll see you later, i have to go" This way atleast he knows you exist and he will know you like him without you even saying "i like you". After that, his mind will go crazy, all he'll be thinking about, "why this chick came and introduce herself to me"... if he's smart, he will figure it out...

one thing to remember is that everyone in this earth is different. That's what makes everyone so unique from others. so what works with one person, doesn't mean it will work with another person. But a smile and friendship never fails.

There is this guy in my 3rd through Advisory (sorry about the spelling) I like him and all my friends and all of his friends (that I know) say he likes me.And I like him and so far I've caught him in these acts around me...

-I'm the only girl that he talk to the most
-he stares at me in class
-we pass notes to each other ( those teachers shall never catch me!)
-we taunt each other
-we hang out with each other during after lunch (His group and my group)
-we talk about the latest gossip
-he knows that he can count on me for supplies
-each and everyday we go to the school busses (after school) we race each other
-he asked one of my friends if I was dating another guy when I wasn't around
-he said that he stopped trying to get with Nova and said he had his *eye* on another girl(see first clue it helps)
-we both love sports
-we both like adveture

hey...i like this one boy that goes to another school...he is my age and we live about 30 minutes apart....he is the drummer in my ex-boyfriend's band and thats kinda how we met...we've only met in person two times and that was at his shows...everytime he would drum, he'd look up at me every once in awhile and smile at me...then at the end of the last show, he threw his sticks to me, when there were others around to throw them to...and he remembered that (we talked about it over the phone before this)...then we were talking about our friends and stuff and he said "id kill anyone who hurt my closest friends"...then there was a mosh pit at the show and i stood out of the way of it and b4 the show, he said "u'd better not get hurt...ill kick some ass if u do!"...but theres also a flaw to this: he has a girlfriend, who has a reputation for cheating...he tells me that after he breaks up with her, he's gonna try asking this other girl out, which kinda told me that he wasn't interested, but what do you think?

There is this boy I've been crushing on since last year. At first it was really obvious he liked me, but I had just met him and was completley oblivious and rude to him (I didn't mean to be!) But now, nearly a year later, he's just found I like him, too. Not long after he broke up with his girlfriend (I found this out from him). Now he teases me, sometimes I see him look my way but I don't see him much since I don't have any classes with him. He gave me his cell number and his friend knows who I am and I've never met him in life before, he just walked up to me one day and called me by my crushes favorite nickname for me. (it really scared me for a minute!) Anywho, I'm confused becuase sometimes he's flirtacious and other times he's a litte distant. Er, I'm really confused.

hi, i have a new boy in 2 of my classes. he is really nice to just about everyone. starting about last week, i have caught him staring at me (from across the room) occasionally during class. i have been staring back, but i tend to get too embarrassed and turn away, and he usually does the same. he hasn't been smiling or talking to me, except for when we were in the same group for a class project, but that was only for 2 class periods. i am an extremely shy person, so i can't really just go up to him and start talking to him, as much as i truely want to. i have been trying to scrape up the courage to smile/grin every so feintly at him when i catch him looking at me. i have noticed that another girl has kind of "taken him in" and is talking to him a lot in one of my two classes with him. i have noticed lately that he has been staring at me a lot less. he is really cute, and he still does stare at me, so i am hoping that he likes me. he doesn't seem to be shy or too outgoing. unlike most of the guys in my grade, he isn't a complete a-hole, so i really want to snag him. i am so confused. i like him sooooo much, but can't tell whether he likes me. please help.

so theres this boy that i met last year and we became like really good friends and i liked him but he was in this serious relationship. so over the summer i got text messages all the time asking for liek pics of my butt but hes just a silly guy that jokes around a lot so i didnt think anything of it but then it got kind of old and i got pissed. so then like he felt really bad and called and left a really sweet message and like kept calling. so i forgve him and we were cool. so then when school started i found out him and his gf broke up but like im sure he needs some time...anyway wheni see him in the hall he hugs me and all and hes coming to my party in a few days even though he'll only really know me b/c hes older. but he'll call me a text me and the other day we talked for like 2 hours and now like he hasnt called or anything and i dont really know whats going on like hes sending mixed messages. any suggestions?
