i`suffering abdoben pain but it is in the left hand side not as the symptoms listed explains,is it possible is appendecites?also the pain goes near genital area the same side but this is between genital area and a thigh,

my husband is now in hospital with suspected walled pendix, and they want to give just antibiotics and send him home, for me is worrying as far as i know as soon this is the diagnosis the patient needs to have surgery and remove the apendix, if not it will be dangerous and lead to peritonitis, but i am sorry this is normal in the uk to delay everything. my husband is only 38 years old.

i've been having some really sharp pain in my lower abdomen, when i press it down it hurts like something sharp. i lay down and it's the same pain as sitting down. it comes and goes some days i don't even get the pain but somedays it can last up to hours. could this be my apendix.

i've been experiencing some pain in my abdomen then it moves to my right abdominal side. i went to the doctor last two weeks and he gave me some medication it went away for a week but now has came back is this appendicitis ??????

i just had mine removed.

i have had pain in my lower area on the right side. it comes and goes, but when i push on the area it hurts really bad. i had a ct on monday and they ruled out kidney stones, but didn't look at my apendix. should i go to the doctor with this pain? i just think something is there hurting and i just want to know what it is.

my mid right side has been hurting for two days. i have also been throwing up and having extremly loose stools. i have been running a fever of 103 to 104. every time i get sick the pain gets worse and slowly continues to worsen. is this apenecites, and should i go to the hospital.

i have undergone apendectomy two weeks ago. after four days of being in the hospital, im back on my daily avtivities. but last day, i visited my surgeon for follow up check up because i feel bad on the incision site. he said there's a pus inside. is the infection severe? how come sepsis occur that i believe all the instruments used during the procedure were all sterile? how long is the complete healing of wound?

i have pain on the right hand side of the abdomen, from last two days. i had a pain same like this two months back, that time doctor gave me some anti biotics and its gone . i did urine test and blood test that time , nothing serious in that. day before i had a back pain , now i dont have it. i have the problem of kidney stone also, so i am not taking much calcium foods also. i dont have constipation, feeling hungry also. the pain is not much when i am walking.

im 27 and i suffered apedicitis 2 days before new years. thats the worst pain ever. the surgery is even worser. thank god i went on time cause they told me if i waited any longer, it would have exploded..

hi, my name is dana i am 5 years old and i had a pain in my tummy and was not feeling very well with a temp of 39.9 my dad took me to the doctor and he said i had to go to hospital and get my appendix taken out. i stayed in hospital for 2 nights and my mummy slept in a bed next to me. now i feel alot better and i am back at home resting.

anyone who have this kind of symptoms must immediately seek doctor's help and if found out anything wrong with your appendix better have it removed, better safe than never..anyway, it doesn't do anything at all in our body...i just had mine removed and now im feeling better... the symptoms really fits me and i was lucky to have a doctor who immediately decided to remove it else, it might lead to worst as stated here...

i don't know i had a apendix. i ate my lunch and when i went for school activities, my stomach hurt alot, i couldn't figure out the pain properly, it was in my middle side i guess. i was so pain that i have to sit down and rest to endure it. so after 1/2-1hour, i feel the pain is going to ease. so at the next day, i run to school after having my lunch 2hours ago, it started to pain. it pain a little and afterthat it is gone in 5-10minutes. could it be apendixs?

the pain in my stomach has been going on for about 3 days now sumtimes its in the right and sumtimes on the left of my stomach. at times i will get tired out of no where and when i eat my stomach feels empty and kind of burns

resently at random times i have a sharp stabbing pain under the right side of my rib cage and it tends to travel around my abdomen and towards my appendix. it is also causing serve back pain and stomach problems. is it possible that is is appendicitis

my boyfriend has sharp pain on the right side towards his abdomen. he says it comes and goes but is not able to do much when the pain is there. pressure on that side really hurts. i think he should get checked, he did go to the hospital once but the doctors didn't do much for him. can it be pre- appendicitis and should he take this more serious. thanks

i have been suffering from a pain in my abdomen on the right side like a year ago when i lay down i try to feel the right side of my abdomen and it hurts when i press it down and when i do it on the left side of my abdomen it doesn't hurt at all this pain comes randomly it doesn't have any signs of when its going to start hurting it just comes and when it does it hurts really bad to the point were i start sueding a lot and then i have this feeling of throwing up i don't know if it is appendicitis or not but i've been reading most of the other stories and it does sound like it i was once hospitalize due to the pain i was having but they told me that it was nothing they just gave me morphine for the pain and thats it i even had a cat-scan done and nothing they still told me that i didn't have anything so can anyone give me some advise on what i should do?

hello. as i read these comments, many sound familiar. i am also experiencing pain on my right side below the rib-cage. it's been hurting off and on for a few weeks. my bm's are normal. the pain is intense when it arrives, and i must sometimes sit down while the pain passes. today i've been in pain for a few hours. is there a particular scan... sonogram or x-ray that would show a growth or perhaps inflammation?

hello, i was on this site when i was trying to search sites diagnostic of bieng appencities... i have been suffering intense pain on my right side of my abdomen, during bedtime i am not comfortable with my sleep and i feel intense pain just like a needle that pointed inside at the sametime on my back side. becuase of this, i cannot do my job properly i was thingking deeply on my situation. do i have appendecities? please i need your frequent answer.

my son been having mild pain right side rib cage to waste and to belly button
they did ct scan came back ok bllod work came back ok and so did the urine test
they have no clue what is going on on his right side that will cuase the pain

just this past sunday i had my apendixis removed do to apendecitis and after reading the majority of these blogs, i would be willing to bet my life that just about all 37 of these blogs are suffering from apendecitis... i had just about all the symptoms excecpt for the not wanting to eat, throwing up and nausea. so to all, please get it checked out and if the doc tells you that ur ok get a second opinion

my 12 year old son had his appendix rupture in nov. they could not take them out until jan. because abcess have formed. ever since nov. he has had a bit of blood in his stool, the doctors think it could be hemmoroids, but not sure he has to go back in 6 months if this does not stop. lately i have notice his stomach is a bit swollen. did anyone ever have same symptoms?

hi.... i started getting flu symptomsthe begining of last week and thought that i had a 24 hour bug ecause it wen away, a few days later i was in unbearable, headache, stomah pains, not to mention my back... i woke up in tears for an hour and a half one nyt ith back pain. i have been diarohhea but no vomitting although i do sick alot. the pain is in my right side and come and goes, when it goes its a dull pain but when it comes its unbearable. i went the doctors and he said that its a mild infection but im convinced its my appendix because iv had all the symptoms.. i havent eaten muc but i when i do the pain is back. today the pains have moved across the left slightly aswell and under the ribs on the right. yesterdya i had huge red circles aroundmy eyes, i look awful. i was going to go bak to the docotrs but i thought he will just say the same thing but i wuld like a second opinion... plz sum1 reply and tell me wat u thnk.

hi my name is alex my brother has apendicsidis and he is in the hospital. he can only have clear foods.i cried alot and thought he was going to die until i found what it means.his apendix did burst nad now he has a tube sucking out all the puss....he is ok he is make a slow recovery in the hospital.

i had a laporoscopy operation a few years ago and when the surgeon went in he said that my apendix was inflamed and fused to the side of my bowel. i was given antibiotics for the infection . i have been suffering ever since with pain in my right side and bowle disruption. i have been told that the surgeon was not in a position to take out the apendix as it was too dangerous so i just have to hope that it doesn't become inflamed again and perforate.

3 days ago my right side was sore, every once in awhile i would get a pain & it made me feel sick at my stomach,i couldn't even sleep that night,this was the first night.the next two day aren't that bad but,from the middle lower part of my abdomen towards the right side of my hip bone is very sore to the touch, and if i'm up alot thie is some discomfort when i walk.iam a woman of 48years & have never experinced this kind of dicomfort before. do you have any insight?
