Insert Information From Web Form Into SQL Database

i like to learn how i can put some information from a html form into my sql database using php. i know its possible but im a beginer and im only learning how to do this. do you have a tutorial on how to do this simpla task, i really would appreciated if you can show me how to insert information taken from a web form into sql database.
