now i can't say the same for the vista OS.
so what i did, i installed windows xp.
but that was not very easy to do, i found the drivers in the hp.com website but it couldn't figure out which drivers went to what. the laptop says HP Pavilion dv2000 but when i look at the sticker for the model it says DV2200 so but there is nothing like that in the hp site, only like DV2200T but my laptop doesnt have a t, so i gave that a try, those were the best drivers i could find.
its working ok, i do have a problem when i put my computer on standby, its very difficult to come back, its like it stalls. and i do have a problem with the sound, after the come from standby, while im listening to music, its starts to sound like very slow motion.. so the only way to fix that sound problem with by rebooting. but i rather put up with that than deal with windows vista on it.
i hope they improve vista with the new version of windows 7
