How To Overcome Fear Stop Being Afraid Or Scared Be Brave Strong Problems
just like everyone else, you have problems, I used to be so afraid everytime a problem would arise. Since my childhood, i've been afraind of scary movies and ghosts and specially the dark. Its not until know that i've become strong and not being fearful of the little problems in life. How did i overcome fear? From what i can remember, it happened one night i was laying down on my bed worrying about my problems and how i was going to resolve them. I was very afraid of this problem i have. So what i did, i remember this from the bible: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil I raised my hand onto the heavens and prayed to Jesus to give me strenght and wisdom so that i would stop being afraid so much. After that day, i don't fear the dark anymore, I face my problems head on and tackle them trying to resolve them in the best christian manner. I feel my stronger now (speritually) I am not scared to face my problems and deal with them.
There another verse in the bible i would like to also share with you, it is in John 16:33, Jesus says:

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world
So remember, we all will have our tribulations (problems), but jesus tells us to be of good cheer (happy, smile), if anything, you can find confort in knowing that Jesus has spoken these words to us. If you need me to pray fo you, please post them here. also, please pray for me that I may continue to have strength and wisdom to face my own tribulations in life and follow the path of Salvation through Jesus Christ.

hi, very much like you were, i am really scared of scary films, not so much horror but the thrillers where they are physcllogically effecting your mind such as the ring, and after i watched that, i had knightmares for over 6 weeks and sometimes still see the little girl and after saw 3 i kept seeing the person in the mask. now this fear has taken over me and every time i get invited over to a 'gathering' i freak myself out and think that we are going to watch a scary film and it ruins the night for me, and i tell my friends but ometimes they get fed up of me saying such things. please help :|

i would like to ask you to pray for me to be brave in communicating with my parents about my relationship... i also would like for my boyfriend to be brave to meet my father due to his horrible childhood he has developed insecurities and he feels like my parents will reject him but i have prayed to god that they will accept him in jesus name ... thank you for your prayers i hope to talk to my father today about my relationship of seven years .. my boyfriend is a respectable, kind and caring and honest ..hard working individual we are a young couple working towards a happy marriage a home of our own and a business to support our future thank you for you prayers i too will prayer for you ... sincerely anita

am afraid of the worst when something go's wrong, am mostly afraids of doctors i have to go for the longest time but i can't handle bad news. i cry like a baby with bad news.but i pray a lot for god to help me. pray for me.

hello, i am 12 and i am very scared of characters from movies such as: chucky, the exorcist girl, etc. and i am so paranoid that when i take a shower or walk by the bath room. i will check in all of the cabinets and move the shower curtain to see if those characters are there. i am not scared of the dark so much because the dark isnt more dangerous than the light, because just because it is dark doesnt mean it is more dangerous than light. so if you can please pray with me. i will be very thankful. thank you so much
