How Safe Is To Do Taxes Online?

as you know its almost that time of the year again when everyone has to do their taxes.

i was wondering if anyone has had any expirience or problems they have done their taxes online line to get their tax return. im kinda scared to do them online because i dont know if its secured to do it or even if its safe. if anyone has any expirience getting their IRS check when they do their taxes online, i would appreaciate your comments please tell me how safe is it do your your taxe return on the internet?
