How To Mount Ntfs Partition In Linux

Description: i was wondering if someone can show me about mouninting NTFS parition on a linux computer. i need to know how to mount the nfts on my pen drive into the linux box. can you show me please what command i can achieve this.

i started playing with a linux computer last week, i have been reading about it and try to get familiar. but i am stuck on something. i have a pen drive i use for my homework on my windows computer. and i want to be able to transfer some of these files on my pen drive to my linux computer but for some reason the computer does not show me the files. i was wondering if someone can show me about mouninting NTFS parition on a linux computer. i need to know how to mount the nfts on my pen drive into the linux box. can you show me please what command i can achieve this.

straight out of the box, you cannot mount NTFS partition on linux from a windows files.

there are some software that will allow you to do the transfer. but linux doesnt recognize NTFS by defatult.

next time, be sure to format your pen drive to fat32 - fat32 can work on both windows and linux computers
