this is a complaint i wrote about Universal Auto Sales - Pittsburg California. this is my experience when they replaced my engine. it was too expensive and their service sucks.

Just wanted to warn visitors of this bog that if you ever need service on your car, don't take your car to these guys. They are a rip off. They make ridiculous services charges. They take advantage of good people like you and me. Their scam is first they give you a cheap quote. Then once they have all the parts removed, they call you and tell you that it will take more money to fix your car. At which point you have no choice but to agree because your car is in pieces. - Else, what are you going to do, take your car with all the parts? They know you can't take your car.
When I received my call, this guy Alex called to say they are having problems locating my part and it will take more time because the part is difficult to find and therefore more expensive than expected.
I also noticed that these guys sell cars. They buy them wrecked and they fix them and sell them. Who wants to buy a car that has been already wrecked? Not me!
