Just wanted to share my thought about what I think of the folks at Awender Chiropractic Clinic in Redwood City, California. I was driving along El Camino Real to Target; on my right side I saw a sign for chiropractic care. My back had been aching for a while and I had been putting it off. Then next day I called and made an appointment. I was greeted very nice by the receptionist and the doctors.
When I went for my initial visit, I thought I was going to get my neck and back cracked, but that was not the case. I went through all these tests. Then I was told that I need to come back for another consultation for my results (which meant I had to pay for another consultation, pretty smart huh!) So I thought, Ok, I’ll pay another 45 bucks. The next week I came back. I was excited to finally get my neck cracked as I had never done this before.
The doctor asked me to lie down on my back. He started to feel my neck muscles then WHAM! I heard bones cracking. It felt great. I felt like all the tension was release from my head. I felt my head cleared and relaxed. Then came my back. my back was ok. no big deal. After several months of attending, I was hoping my back pain would go away, but the reality was that it was going away so I stopped going. I visited another chiropractor to see I my back situation would change, but no way.
I researched the internet, and found that it was good to be cracking your neck. It’s best to exercise your muscles. So I did, I exercised my neck and back muscles, after a couple of weeks, the pain was gone. I felt better. So my advice is before you go about spending thousands of dollars on chiropractic care, try exercising first, you'll be surprise how well you will feel. Don't expect immediate results, it will take about two weeks before you start to notice, but you will feel better. Of course, I am not a doctor and the best advice you can get is from your doctor
