Today I made a big screw up. I deleted a folder I though it was on a different drive. I checked the Recycle Bin but there was nothing. I networked both computers to see if i could find it, but no luck. it was a whole day wasted. I couldnt find the files anywhere.
The best solution was to try a free download at http://www.snapfiles.com they have a windows utility called "File Scavenger" they have both versions, free and shareware. I tried the freeware. When I installed it, i executed and sure enough, i was able to find the files i had deleted. Once i got the files back, when i opened them there was messed up. Well, I will have just live with it. Its ashame though, all that work for nothing. I will make sure I am on the right folder next time i start to go on a deleteing rampage.
Anyway, you might want to try File Scavenger, Just make sure you follow the instructions. I had no choice but to install it on the machine i lost my files so i think that may have something to do with me not getting my files correctly.
