Recently we had problems with our cooling system on our Honda vehicle. Drving by our neighborhood, we saw a small shop that said they did repairs on imports like toyota, nissan and honda. We thought this it would be perfect place to have our var checked out. Big mistake, the mechanic was a rip off. He first said that the system did not have any freon gas, then after he tested the pressure, he said that the compression test was good. So we asked if the compression test was good, where did that gas go? He mumbled and could not explain, so his reply was they could not look at my car today anyway because they were too busy and that we should bring it next week for them to check it out. At this point, I could tell this asian guy was trying to get out because he knew I wasnt going to let him rip us off. I told him I wont be needing his services anymore and took it to a shop a friend recomended. When I took our car to the other shop, they found a blown fuse on the fuse panel. they replaced it and that was it.
Beware of people like DX Auto Repair in Winder Georgia. These people like taking advantage of their customers. I realize that they have to make money, but they should be more honest about their work. You'll be amazed how honesty pays off, its about the trust.
