The dedicated game server option will allow you and your friends or clan members to have your own public machine that anyone on the internet can access. You will have the machine's processing power to only your game. This will NOT be a shared machine with any other games. You can run your own Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Strike Force, Tribes, Quake, Doom, or any other game that can run as a server in linux multiplayer mode or has separate server software.
